East Hampton Cottage

This project was a gut renovation where no surface was left untouched. The house was in such disrepair that the owners considered tearing it down and starting again. But instead, we decided to raise all of the ceilings to mirror the special roof line, install unique chandeliers to show off the new vaulted contours, add larger windows and glass doors to let in light from all sides, and commit to a beachy color scheme punctuated by colorful abstract paintings from the family’s collection.
